Dr. Michael Mercado is a highly skilled Winter Garden medical doctor dedicated to providing gentle and effective care to patients of all medical backgrounds. A 1984 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School, Dr. Michael Mercado achieved his DDS in a field that he is passionate about. He believes that excellent health begins with education and prevention and has made it his mission to enlighten patients to ways they can take greater control over their own medical health. Dr. Michael Mercado is committed to continuing education and remaining aware of the latest advancements in medical health.
Dr. Guillermo Acevedo
Dr. Guillermo Acevedo graduated from Santiago of Compostela Medical School, Spain in 1979. His internship was done in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He worked for 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in FPC Eglin, Florida, MDC Miami and MDC Guaynado, Puerto Rico. He is trained in Hyperbaric Medicine Therapy from San Antonio, Texas and he also worked at Clinicals Externas Department Centro Medico, Puerto Rico. He is a member of Florida Medical Association.

Mr. Francisco Gonzalez, Physician’s Assistant
Mr. Francisco Gonzalez has completed a fellowship in metabolic nutritional medicine. He is board certified in Anti-Aging medicine from Florida USA. He has also completed the SPEX test and ECFG certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Language Graduates. He has had more than 15 years experience within the USA and is a member of the American Diabetic Association as well as the American Medical Association.
Lillian Cartagena Mercado, Patient Advocate
Lillian Cartagena Mercado obtained her Master’s Degree in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. She was a Patient Advocate in Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC and then at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. After 24 years she retired from hospital based patient advocacy to work as a wellness advocate/coach. She is a certified Take Shape for Life coach and a 2014 graduate of the Mannatech Flight Team.
