Dr. Michael Mercado
Dr. Mercado is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School (Class of ’84) and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the Florida & American Medical Associations, and the Florida Academy of Directors Association.
Dr. Rafael Perfecto
Dr. Perfecto was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico. He obtained his medical degree at St. John Baptist Medical School in Caguas, Puerto Rico in 2011. His medical training was done at “La Concepcion” Immaculate Conception Hospital in San German, Bella Vista Hospital, and Metro Pavia Hospital. His career has been colored with experience, education, and lots of love for learning. He is active with the community, treating patients in underserved areas with care and compassion and tending to the local community as well as the bilingual population. He is a member of the Florida & Americal Medical Associations, and the Puerto Rico College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Francisco Gonzalez, Physician Assistant
Francisco Gonzalez has completed multiple courses in DM Type I and II in the USA. He is board certified in Antiaging Medicine with Advanced Endocrinology. He also completed a fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. In addition, he has the ECFMG Certification USMLE Step I, Step II, Step III and the SPEX test with a Florida license. He completed his medical studies in Colombia and the USA. He holds an active MD license in Colombia and a PA license in Florida. Presently, he is a member of the AMA and AADE (American Association of Diabetes Education).
Lillian Cartagena Mercado, Patient Advocate
Lillian Cartagena Mercado obtained her Masters of Arts degree in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. She had a 24-year hospital career as a Patient Advocate in Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City then at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida. She is now a Wellness Advocate, trained to provide BEMER (Vascular, Micro-Circulation) therapy and provides advanced nutritional wellness programs for immune, digestive, and weight management. She is a member of the Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce and a Champion for rhe M5M Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending childhood malnutrition.
